  • Dear Friends,

It has been so long since I have written and there is so much to tell. I will just give you a few of this week's highlights and try to update you next week.

This coming Friday, December 9, our elementary students will present a Christmas musical. We do not have a music teacher so it is up to us (the elementary staff) to put on the program. It's hard to believe it is almost here and as usual we have a long way to go to be ready. Our sound men have been taking time away from their regular ministries to help us with microphones and music. We were informed last week that one of our major characters will not be here on the day of the performance. Pray for Sean as he is now trying to learn an extra set of lines.

Each child in our school has a solo, duet, verse. or special speaking part in our musical. They are all excited. It has been a challenge to teach our fifth and sixth graders to be actors.! Pray that our musical will be glory to God, that our students will understand the meaning of the words in our songs, and that someone who comes may be curious enough to ask "Who is this Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father?"

Thank you for praying for my health, I think I have had only one cold, and no major illnesses this school year. My knee has not ached in months and I am walking without a limp for the first time in about a year and a half!

Pray for continued unity with our school staff. We are enjoying each others' company and I can see so many ways people helping others. It seems we always need help with houses, cars, pets. and computers. God has blessed many with special gifts and they are generous to share their expertise.

My computer died and was sent to the company, The warranty is still current and it is on its way back to El Paso. Pray that someone will be able to bring it into Mexico without difficulty with customs.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and financial support. Without your participation our team would not be complete!

Praising Him for His gift to us,
    Peggy Warren
